Rebecca is Manager at the Colchster workshop for The Performing Arts Children’s Charity

Rebecca obtained an FDA in popular music at the Colchester Institute and has since completed an ADPA in the teaching of Performing Arts. Rebecca has been teaching singing, performance skills, music theory and piano to adults and children for local schools, organisations and privately for over 7 years. She has been involved in countless bands and ensembles over the years and is now a tutor for the award winning choir Funky Voices which takes her all over Essex and Suffolk delivering choir and singing workshops.

Rebecca is a specialist in teaching children with special educational needs and has worked in countless schools in essex delivering music workshops for the Essex Music Hub. She is also the current Managing Teacher at Colchester’s InterAct (Stagecoach Charitable Trust’s inclusive workshops for mainstream and disadvantaged children) where she has worked for the past 5 years. Rebecca has worked for Stagecoach for over 6 years as a singing teacher for Main School and Early Stages, she has taken her classes from Stagecoach and Interact to perform at St Helena Hospice fete every year for the past 5 years and this remains her most treasured achievement.
